I am moving my PCs to Linux, which means no "kindle for PC" for me because capitalism hates freedom.

So, unless I would enjoy reading books on a web browser, there's no way for me to read those books unless I shelve 200 bucks for another device.

I feel awful for telling independent authors that I will not be buying their books if they sell exclusively on amazon since amazon enforced reading only on their platforms.
