In quite a shitty headspace at the moment and need a feel good, easy read (that isn’t romance or smut based.) Any ideas please?

I told myself no FPL this year (I got top 10% for the 24/25 season and the pressure was annoying) and yet here I am, staring at a team who will inevitably disappoint me week in, week out.

Will I sob like I did for Stoner? Added to my list, your recommendations haven’t missed yet.

We actually ended up buying none (which was very surprising.. Razz picked up two but wasn’t convinced so didn’t end up buying them) We were on our way to a show and only popped in but added a few to my TBR. Will definitely be going back soon though.

Broke my favourite claw clip and I’m devastated

It was awkward to watch

I’m sure there’s a very irritating side to the app but I’ve found it easy enough to avoid ☺️

Bluesky still feels like a much calmer pace than I’m used to on social media. I don’t post often but I also don’t feel like I’m just doom scrolling, I’m just looking at people’s book recommendations, new music, art, poetry and cute photos of birds. It’s still nice.

Finally read a book in 2025 higher than 2 stars 💃

It’s waiting for me on the bookshelf 😄

Weyward by Emilia Hart. It’s witchy and tells the stories of multiple ‘gifted’ women over time. Goodreads has it at a 4.07/5 so I was excited but halfway through and I’m struggling 😩

The first book I’m reading in 2025 feels like a slog 🙃

It’s frustrating because the reviews were so good, which made me excited to read it.

I will persevere but can only hope it’s not a sign of the year to come because my TBR is very long at this point 🥹
