i first took the moniker Mesarthim because of a character I related to in a rpg. then I learned it was the name of a star; and as I learned more about that name, I started to feel a connection to it. Like, that’s *my* star; it’s like finding a long lost friend in the sky

I recently joined a small tarot club and I'm so scared I'm going to slip up and call the Wands suit the "Sticks"

especially excited to do things with my static again; irl stuff made it so that we ended up taking july off, and it'll be good to hang out with everyone again

I'm actually excited for the patch aside from its actual content, because everyone's on hiatus and they'll be coming back and that's nice ☺️

okay so i'm not gonna gatekeep delicious things, and it's great that new people are learning about how delicious matcha is, but it does kinda suck when something you like gets mega-popular and then the brand you want isn't in-stock anymore

It's an interesting problem to have. I have all sorts of interests and ideas, where in the world do I begin?? It's the weirdest kind of decision paralysis.

For a long time, when I created it was always held to some external standard. In college, "will this make money?" Later, "will my socials like this?"

And now that I'm learning to make for myself, it's like... where do I start?? Now that no one is telling me where to go... what do I do?

on a positive note, ever since I started getting more active on bluesky, I've started also making more friends and it's been really nice. i'm a really simple person, i just want to hang out with people and vibe, and it's been fun to have more of that

starfield is unique among space videogame settings in that it kinda hews close to low-fantasy, which tbh makes it really, really perfect for cosplaying as a cowboy bebop writer
