"Early Access" is the worst description of a development stage as you don't know what you get. At least with Alpha or Beta labels there is an understanding of where it's at. I love hopping into MMO tests. They're so much fun but I don't like paid access. I'd rather the only cost be my free time.

Such a shame that they keep failing. It would be an amazing setting for an MMO (or multiple as there are different settings) and with Henry Cavil's upcoming Warhammer project, it's surprising that no one is willing to back a Warhammer game. I think Nexon's Warhammer game is cancelled too(?).

I'm pulled between many! Mainly Gw2, Warhammer Online, Ashes of Creation and Where Winds Meet. I know I know, Where Winds Meet isn't a traditional MMO, it plays more like a optional MMO-lite RPG but OMMOLRPG doesn't roll off the tongue.

It could work. I’d prefer something like a “Tome of Knowledge” where lore unlocks as you play.Hovering over a something you haven't discovered yet shows unknown, while ones you’ve discovered could display a contextualized window. So support the learning the lore without overwhelming or spoiling it.

Here's hoping we see a new additions to your "The healthiest MMOs going into 2027" list this time next year.

It could be as simple as a millionaire or billionaire that no one has ever heard as they like it that way. Someone who enjoys MMOs. If I was in their shoes and assuming there was nothing dodgy they wanted like Web3 bs, I'd take it too.

Playing Where Winds Meet since global launch & there has so many moments where something has happened & afterwards, I’ve just sat there thinking, How on earth is this game free? I know it’s supported by cosmetics, but still it's absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it. #Gaming #Game #Games

Haha, I can confidently say they are the best! It was extremely rare for something like that to happen!

I’m wary but still want to hope. I was a big Aion fan when it launched. My parents let me take 2 days off school & I had tons of fun. But what it became & how Classic was ruined, I can’t help but think, “how are they going to screw us over this time?” I hope I’m wrong but they already mentioned P2W.

If they are going the route of "Guild Wars 3" being an MMO and not just another game in the Guild Wars universe, I hope they will go back to their skill system in GW1 and bring over the WvW system in GW2. Then I'll be happy.

It will be really cool to see how it turns out.If there is one "End" objective but several different ways to get to that end objective. Maybe you stick around and complete everything to get additional xp or to make the end fight easier. Maybe your team is only comped for doing it a certain way etc.

Here I can't list everything I'm looking forward but the feeling of exploration is probably top of the list. If you can nail the execution of being put in an random map and wanting to explore, that will be really cool.

I’m also glad to hear your thoughts on the business model. Even if it changes, having buy-to-play sounds really promising. I've had in-person meetups with people I met in WoW and GW2, and even had a full guild meet-up from ArcheAge. That kind of connection is unique to MMOs. (2/3)

Really well articulated. No game is easy to make, but MMOs are definitely one of - if not the - hardest genres to pull off. I think most MMO players have had those kinds of social interactions that stick with them more than the gameplay itself. (1/3)

Just realised Its been over a year since I started helping players get the Temple of the Dredge Mastery Insight in #Gw2 due to the pre-event being bugged. Keeping a rough estimate, that's over 5000 players helped. 😃

I kind of like it when it matches real life Day/night but I'd prefer virtual nighttime of the two.

More started to come where we were fighting them. We'd take them out one by one and we had someone who would execute them in the back so they couldn't get revived. We managed to kill around 20 of them! We had to leave some loot because our bags were full! We somehow managed to survive that!!

and someone else was like "or we could just charge in and fight as many as we can" ...we all agreed and we snook up behind some rocks, buffed up like we never buffed up before. Thankfully some of them were AFK so we ignored them and went straight for the lesser geared ones.(3/*)
