I like the transparency shown within FSSB update issued in the past hour. Whilst I trust the board greatly, with most of them being people Iโ€™ve voted for, and other good members there, itโ€™s important we have increased transparency and itโ€™s great to see.

Good, clear answers to questions too. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

A man named Steve Dale (oops, sorry for swearing) said there wasnโ€™t much interest in football in the town of Bury.

Upwards now of 7๏ธโƒฃ7๏ธโƒฃ0๏ธโƒฃ0๏ธโƒฃ tickets sold for fan-owned Bury Football Club at the 9th tier of English football.

Itโ€™s beautiful what can be done when football clubs are ran by people who care.

Gargantuan football institution selling 7k tickets.

Itโ€™s credit to the amazing work by an army of people off the pitch as well as getting perfection on it. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ†

A massive congratulations to the elected three! It takes huge guts to put yourself forward to represent the club, be subject to scrutiny and be responsible for shaping our future!

We have elected 3 good candidates I believe. Good luck to them! Letโ€™s get behind them and the board!

Now that voting has closed for deciding who represents us on the board during the next 3 years, we need to back whoever is added, if you voted for them or not. Get behind them, give them a chance, scrutinise where necessary, communicate & ask questions. Iโ€™m sure theyโ€™ll do their best, for us all! ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

Regarding community aspect/aims, the club & stadium is & continues to grow as what we all want it to be off the pitch! A club should represent the town, itโ€™s people & be hub for the whole community in regards to football. Things going on now after hard work & future initiatives planned too. Love it.

The work doesnโ€™t stop.

- Disability footy for our most vulnerable, kicking off in 3 days after months of work.
- Plans for something else began last month, Iโ€™ll be getting VERY stuck into that, again, so the club is for everybody!
- My own plans in future, just delayed, myself improved.

Amazing work here ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ.

Amongst other things, pan-disability football beginning this month too, initially for young kids, after many months of work. The town has shamefully lacked it for decades, and Iโ€™m overjoyed both that itโ€™s happening and that I can be a part of it. Itching for it to start. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

In our hands ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ.

With wins all the way to the end of the season, weโ€™ll get our hands on the title and a farewell to the NWCFL, but itโ€™s still a long 12 games to go.

12 more loud games willing the team on, we can do this ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™UTfS

Accounts: Itโ€™s good. Without jumping into financial jargon, itโ€™s good.

Christmas games make it that bit sweeter. We need to keep going, including more facility use and continuing to find new revenues, amongst other things. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

I understand the FSSB nominations are now closed. Respect to anyone standing & hope candidates understand the magnitude of the role. I'll be carefully reading the statements, all about competency & values for me to build on what has been achieved & incorporating any learning.

2 weeks. Meeting held tonight, weโ€™re getting ready to go.

This is a requirement in my opinion, itโ€™s not competitive, itโ€™s just about fun and the right thing to give all kids the chance to play football.

Football is now no longer โ€œa manโ€™s gameโ€. Polly Bancroft, amongst others, is clearly an example for many females wanting to work in football/sport.

Aaron Chalmers:

Beyond great work we do with various types of analysis, thereโ€™s a type of player, especially in certain moments that Iโ€™ve learnt since 2020 that wins you titles. I like Hockenhull (๐Ÿ‘Œ), plus others but Chalmers is the closest to that gritty bastard who gets hands on titles. Big miss!

WD&C were better, simple as; solid in defence, great midfield press, finished their chances.

Youโ€™ll get reactionary, very emotional posts about players, play style, formation & as I heard at HT, management. But keep your heads, support.

One match, but hurts. Sprint to the line needs to begin soon.

Others hate it (obviously) but itโ€™s how we should be operating, attracting the best proven players at this level and getting them in ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

Overall, a good year I think for @buryfc.bsky.social, with the odd dark day or two, especially that play-off final - still hurts. Missed a couple of matches recently which were both the league losses, I maintain you still canโ€™t blame me for them though! ๐Ÿคฃ

2025 will honestly be bright for #buryfc.

Iโ€™m OVERJOYED to be a part of getting this in place!

I had to stop playing at 7 until 10 due to my disability & to put it mildly, it wasnโ€™t a nice feeling that I still remember today.

Thereโ€™s graft behind the scenes, this is exactly something #buryfc should be doing, football is for everybody!

Weโ€™ve had a great start, unbeaten until recently, mad FA Cup run, due to a squad who fight every match & show incredible quality.

Weโ€™ve now got that same side with top reinforcements added.

Weโ€™re sometimes quick to overreact, but get behind this team, we make a difference on here & at matches.
