I genuinely think a lot of the people who say porn addiction is real don’t actually care about addiction but instead see porn as something shameful and perverted to be interested in, so being addicted to such a thing is also degrading and embarrassing. They always use “porn addict” as an insult.

This will be the hill I die on, “porn addiction” is not real, that phrase specifically is used as a dog whistle and is backed only by pseudoscience which has been created by right wing fascist organisations with the intention to demonise minorities. It is not real, actual science proves it isn’t.
