It's becoming legalized now & hippies are gentrifiying neighborhoods/ opening dispensaries, while countless people—disproportionately from marginalized communities—are still behind bars for it.

I mean, sure, global warming (etc.) has a direct impact on my neighbor, so the question isn’t totally separable, but I feel viewing like the world exclusively through a wide angle lens and not ever zoomed in, for me at least, is a bit of a cop-out.

I feel like I need to stop worrying about politics, global warming, my health and career ... all that stuff; and begin seriously concern myself with my neighbor.... (continued in comments)
