We Don't Need to Agree to Disagree With Trump Supporters. They're Just Wrong. I often find myself in a now-familiar spot with Trump supporters I know: hopelessly stuck in an unnavigable impasse on our respective paths, unable to find a way forward.

This is not a disagreement.

At this point, with the last decade (and particularly the last couple of months) as a resume, their alignment with this president means that we are fundamentally disconnected on what is morally acceptable.

A lot say about that, even though in principle that’s correct. My point is the phony outrage from Republicans. Also, I am reminded of pacifists, for example, who eventually concluded circumstances require they forego principles.
