I guess it's a trend at this point. Like last time they do still have a bit of lore on their hero pages but I would love a story. Even one general one if not one for each hero.

That's super cool! I bet it's a lot easier being surrounded by more experienced players to help guide you. 😁 I know my players daughter seemed to catch on rather quickly with all the more experienced party helping her out with Pathfinder 2E (which I would say is arguably more complicated than DS).

I've got 4 casual players in my group of 6 having a blast with Draw Steel. Definitely agree that it's great as a "Second" RPG, but would never say casual players wouldn't enjoy it. 😁 But if I'm introducing someone to RPGs I usually grab a coin or any dice and just roleplay with a bit of randomness.
