If you can leave facebook, instagram, and threads that's great, but a lot of non-profits and indie creators have no choice but to stay for promotion and fundraising. Just try to remember that when making grand declarations of disgust and condemnation aimed at everyone who keeps using meta. 🧵

The audience was stunned. A few listless, isolated claps, and then the audience rose and walked out. Silently.

Until one voice loudly said “What the hell was that?!”

We sat through the entire “Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play”. We wanted to leave, but we also thought “Act one was bad, so act two surely must be better”. Then we thought “Act two was terrible, let’s see if it gets worse.”

My friends, it got worse.

So much worse

We’ve only walked out of one play (Hamlet, but all genders of the characters were reversed, and they spoke their lines so fast nobody had a clue what they were saying. And it was set in modern day—sort of—and at the intermission, fully half the audience left).

Unfortunately, I am pet-less at this time. But I’m watching for the next opportunity to rescue a senior pug or frenchy.

I’d have to agree. When it’s noticed that walls “have a heavy meat buildup”, that’s my cue to start buying a different brand.

I’d go vegetarian, but have you seen how many times fresh produce is tainted with E. Coli?
