#CBJ vs #TimeToHunt πŸ“ŠπŸ§΅

Adam Fantilli was unlucky to not have some more points. Werenski had a great middle distance shooting affair but still seems to be lacking some juice.

Marchenko struggled to connect plays. He was brilliant in battles but very often overplaying carries.

#CBJ vs #TimeToHunt πŸ“ŠπŸ§΅

Marchment, Fantilli and Marchenko were clear standouts, just not together really. Fantilli with some of the most dangerous playmaking that we've seen from him.

Reinhart, Tkachuk and Bennett just had too much offensive juice for CBJ to stop.

Coyle line dominated. Monahan line was honestly good but very unlucky with a couple of puck touches that resulted in danger against.

Fantilli and Marchenko had some rush chances that looked great.

Werenski-Fabbro couldn't find the scoring juice but otherwise dominated.

It didn't seem like Paul Maurice wanted to win though. He played Donovan Sebrango and AJ Greer a ton of minutes.

Blue Jackets dominated in-zone with a ton of huge chances. A ton of their forecheck and rush came slow. A lot of struggle to link togther passes and beat Florida's defensive sticks.

Gave up a ton on the PP, especially in OT.

Generally, a good defensive effort.

It's confusing how the team who beat up Tampa on the back half of a back-to-back can come out like this but that's sports.

They had a ton of chances and "should have" won the game but it was pretty sloppy. Lots of wasted opportunity.

#CBJ vs #GoBolts πŸ“ŠπŸ§΅

Kent Johnson's offensive brilliance cannot be overstated. He set up Monahan and Garland very well.

Fantilli finding net-front chances addressed one of the holes in his shooting profile.

Mateychuk another great offensive showing.

Kent Johnson with perhaps the best playmaking game of the year. Fantilli and Monahan outrageous danger off their stick. Both were fantastic at the net and on special teams.

Garland a brilliant scoring glow-up.

Sillinger, no offensive contributions.

Provorov and Mateychuk had some massive shifts when up a goal. Werenski-Fabbro when they were down.

Monahan-line heroic across score states.

The Blue Jackets' advantage came from the Monahan-Johnson-Garland line which was completely and utterly dominant.

Jenner, alongside Werenski-Fabbro, were tasked with shutting down Tampa's Kucherov unit. They did that very well. Werenski allowed nearly nothing on-net.

A strange distributino of ice-time from the Blue Jackets but two lines were leaned on most heavily at 5v5, Fantilli and Jenner in the new look lines.

D'Astous new #1 D-man in Tampa?

#CBJ vs #GoBolts πŸ“ŠπŸ§΅

CBJ got some huge chances off the forecheck and eliminated chances off the rush, a significant weakpoint lately.

They scored on special teams and prevented the same from Tampa.

The big advantage came in zone. Tampa had trouble getting the puck to the net.

Massive win for the Blue Jackets and a complete drubbing of the Tampa Bay Lightning. They won everywhere and every situation.

The 5v5 data is dire. Garland by far the most productive scorer was also good under the hood despite receiving the second least minutes.

Top unit was especially poor when minutes are considered.

Marchenko, Kent Johnson and Conor Garland stand out because of powerplay contributions.

Kempe and Kopi came up huge and Panarin was everywhere.

The on-ice data isn't pretty. Somehow, Marchenko and Provorov come out as positives.

Miserable game from Werenski and Mateychuk who received little help from their forwards on some of these bigger chances.

Because the Blue Jackets were blanked at 5v5, there's not much positive to write about here. Matchup line had a couple very bad shifts.

Bowness' heavy PK reliance on Monahan and Coyle made some of the lines difficult. The top unit was heavily featured and the least impacted by that rotation.

It's starting to cause some problems.

Massive outchancing in-zone, massively outchanced off-the-rush.

CBJ really misplayed some slower in-zone situations that lead to extremely large chances.

The Blue Jackets wasted a great opportunity on this one and were lucky to get a point.

The opening double-minor was the best stretch played, otherwise they lost pretty much every conceivable situation.

Yeah I think so. I don't think we've quite seen full-flight Mateychuk under him yet and couple of defensive mistakes I'm sure Bowness doesn't really like.

#CBJ vs #TusksUp πŸ“ŠπŸ§΅

Utah rush game is quite outrageous and Logan Cooley was the centerpiece. Lawson Crouse had plenty of contributions, perhaps surprising given his name.

Top unit with a lot of offense. KJ and Garland should have found a goal, unlucky post.

CBJ top unit had massive individual contributions as did Zach Werenski. Conor Garland's playmaking was instantly noticeable.

Coyle got to the net quite hard.

Logan Cooley was a complete force on the side of the Mammoth.

Werenski wasn't really eased back in. Bowness played the Garland line big, they had a tremendous first period and then were quiet after.

Werenski had some fun. He gave up far too many rush sequences in concert with the top line. This explains why plenty of the chances found their way on net.

KJ and Garland perhaps unlucky on a partial line change.

Werenski-Severson had a chaotic evening. Mateychuk-Provorov was mostly great, at least under the hood, save the rather large breakdowns.

CBJ's top unit was single handedly responsible for a point that they yanked from the jaws of defeat.

If it felt like Utah won big that's probably because they obliterated CBJ with rush offense of every kind. Specifically, they had some clever deep regroup moves that dominated the neutral zone.

NZ Faceoff should be changed to "contested neutral zone".

CBJ locked them in-zone.

Rowdy Saturday night game between two playoff hopefuls.

Utah gets the edge in open play but CBJ had some massive netfront sequences that gave them a massive edge in chance share.

CBJ was dominant for stretches, Utah created some premium looks.
