Two years ago today I signed a bill making Minnesota the first state to codify abortion rights after the fall of Roe v. Wade.
Politicians across the nation turned back the clock on reproductive rights. But here in Minnesota, we trust people to make their own decisions.

52 years after Roe v. Wade, we’ve seen that progress isn’t guaranteed.
Minnesota was the first state to codify the right to reproductive freedom after it was overturned.
We’ll continue to stand as a firewall against any and all attacks on reproductive freedom.
