Yuck I was following them.

The stigma makes it even harder to talk about. It's already such a crushing disorder. Boiled down all it really means is I have been hurt very much, things feel very big sometimes and I struggle to regulate. Being open about when I'm not doing good is deeply vulnerable.

I put so much into being there for others all the time and I wish I could just have a fraction of that back sometimes, even if it's about something relatively minor. I just feel things so big it's not something in my control (despite my best efforts and therapy) I wish people could get that

And this whole time that I'm venting, internally I'm like "jeez am I being unfair for thinking that I deserve a little sympathy or understanding when someone close to me hurts my feelings? I should be quiet im overreacting." My emotions are constantly splitting me apart and I wish it would stopppp

I get my feelings hurt pretty easily sometimes. It can be over really minor stuff. I try really hard to communicate about it thoughtfully, even if I know I'm not coming from a place of logic. Man most of the time all really I want is to just feel understood, and like it's okay to feel bad.

I try so hard to tone it all down when I express myself. Pick and choose my words to be as non-confrontational as I can, while still advocating for myself. but even still I'm too much and am very often just left alone. It hurts so so much

Man. Existing with BPD is a miserable nightmare sometimes. Experiencing hurt so deeply, and constantly gaslighting yourself into questioning whether or not you're reasonable to even feel hurt.
