Not sure what I was expecting, but I loved this medieval, monstrous, magnificent seven.
Ideally paced, plenty of action & unexpectedly brave & honourable characters.

Book cover for The Hidden Legion
I didn't realise that one of the benefits of having boiler replacement work, was having the time to finish the most excellent The Hidden Legion by @snorrikristjansson.bsky.social
Loved the premise, the setting & the eclectic cast of characters. Looking forward to picking up The Silent Emperor.
Cover of Rose/House
When you come home from work & your husband sees your new book ๐. My TBR pile is not getting any smaller, although Rose/House is a novella, so TBR is not much taller. ๐
