The dress is strapless and she wears a white chiffon shrug with short puff sleeves. (I’m not 100% sure I’m getting all these fashion/fabric terms right but I’m doing my best.) Beside her sits a beautiful shorthaired tabby cat that she is petting, as if the two were intentionally posed together for this portrait.

Been thinking a lot about book marketing and how FB/Insta are so designed for visuals that they've pushed writers out of their natural comfort zone and forced them to make art bite sized and boiled down to the most basic tropes and compete with bookstagram which makes it difficult to find their book

I spent all day reading a Carrie Fisher biography and baking pizza 😋

I made pizza!! It was all from scratch and I shouldn't have pre-baked the crust but it was delicious 😋 (just too crunchy) #cooking
