Palette cleanser!! I wouldn’t call this Gelatinous Cube my best work or anything but, fun to experiment with! I printed the figure with translucent green Anycubic resin and poured UV resin over the cube for a real Jello-y look.

Gave this guy to a friend for their campaign so good luck to them 😉

I made this little demo in a few hours today just to see if I could achieve the sort of, midcentury off-kilter background art vibe.

They're just very simple geometries with some grease pencil, which has a subtle noise modifier on it.

My tips for painting landscapes

An oil on board showing a degree day at the Cambridge Senate House showing the famous cast iron railings and Constables in top hats and tail coats. It was hung rather badly at a Cambridge Drawing Soc exhibiition and didn't find a buyer so it is still in store. As I type this I haven't got a note of it's size but it is probably 24" X 32" ish and framed

This painting of mine from 2017 shows graduation day at the #Cambridge Senate House. It's an oil on gessoed board and was shown at a Cambridge Drawing Soc exhibition. Still have it. Perhaps bsky.app/profile/cam.... would like it? It would look quite good in one of the rooms in the Old Schools

My painting ELY SUNSET

A knight on a white horse, setting out to find a dragon in a mountainous wild wasteland, has just encountered the dragon’s aunt. She is MASSIVE, half pompous matron and half dragon, decked with curls, pearls, and feathers (or are they horsetails?) with a long scaly tail stretching back into the mountains, and a formidable gold lorgnette, through which she examines the knight. She does not approve.

The Rose Queen, in a grand rose gown, is surrounded by her court of elegant bee attendants in a spacious pavilion decked with roses. The bee courtiers are all vying for her attention.

The New Galatea, a grand lady of marble, is carving herself out of a large marble block, in a baroque ruin. She’s given herself an outrageously elaborate marble gown and hairstyle, because she can.

A joyful zebra, that is also a knight, ON FIRE, with stripes and tail turning to flames, garbed in a golden helmet with plumes that also turn to flames, rearing up and holding a striped lance that is also on fire, setting out on an adventure across sunny mountains, along a road leading to a golden castle. A little fire salamander friend tags along.
