Thank you for taking part in today’s Emergency Alert test, which saw tens of millions of phones successfully receive the message across the country.

The test took just seconds, but will help the government keep the country safe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

I’m grateful to the Prime Minister for asking me to lead the Cabinet Office alongside my role as Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister in 10 Downing Street.

The government is focussed on your priorities, and making sure you see real change in your life and local community.

We’ve used the Spending Review to bring public services together to work as a mission led team.

Budgets will be published on June 11th.

We are in an era of five party politics. But there’s only two sides.

Our side: a politics of love, compassion and community. With the ideas to transform Britain.

And their side: a politics of anger, division and blame. Posing only a risk to Britain.

I say to the populist right: bring it on.

The world is changing, from security and defence to global trade.

The government is working hand in glove with business to build a stronger and more resilient UK, and expand our trading relationships with countries around the world.

Labour has invested £26bn in our NHS and reduced waiting lists every month for the past five months.

The Tories want the investment, but don’t know how to pay for it. And Reform wants you to pay for your healthcare.

Reform and the Tories are all the same.

Doing this at pace and scale will deliver growth and opportunity across the West Midlands.

As part of our plans to rewire the state, I set out in a speech today how HM Treasury will be using technology to access real time finance and performance management data from government departments to help us make better decisions and deliver better public services.

The Westbury Wildlife Park team in Westbury-on-Trym have done a brilliant job - a forest school, yoga classes, women’s health yurt, cafe, kids playground, wildlife conservation AND now a swimming lake and sauna.
