Dennis Irwin and Nick Nobilo both made Gewürztraminer over the years that I have loved. And I’ve found a bottle of Pinotage from the 70’s which made me wonder if anyone is making one any more - I wonder how similar/different it would be to a South African?

In both instances the wines were very well received :-)

Two very different events: Wed. eve. was a very proud wine supplier to the #meritorioussailoroftheyeardinner for the #princeofwalesaircraftcarrier twinned with #Bristol at the #Societyofmerchantventurers congratulations #sarayoung. Then an “off the beaten track” tasting for jnr schl parents at #QEH

The calm before the storm that is COW (Averys Celebration of wine) and the 1st session in full flow. Thanks to our wonderful suppliers who manned some of the tables - the domaines, ch Cissac, domaine Mourchon, Jeff Carrel, casa silva, l’affinage fromage.
