Not sure where they dropped it off at, just heard them say on the radio that they had the touch down point in sight and were moving toward the drop off. It must not have been very far - they're already landing back at Hunter.
EBONY 09 (CH-47F, 13-08146, B/2-3 AVN) is en route to Tybee now, they're one of the 3rd ID's CH-47s. They were up with KNIGHTHAWK OPS on 32.200 FM, but have switched to 40.700 FM with BEACH BOUY CONTROLLER. I don't have the best signal on them now they're closer to Tybee.
113th Wing/121st FS F-16Cs are at the Savannah CRTC/ADC. Earlier, I caught two depart as BRAVE 11 flight to the north. They seem to be using 253.200 at the AFC for Ops and I think they were on 324.000 for air-to-air. These two are 86-0356 & 87-0314.
Was just out and about picking Mama up from dropping her car off for an oil change. If it stays gusty, this may not happen today...

When I got home this afternoon, the power was out, so I decided to go to Wormsloe State Historic Site and work some Parks on the Air stations. I worked 11 different stations including ones in Utah, England, and Italy. #AmateurRadio #HamRadio #hamr #POTA
Have been in Brunswick for the last few days; if they haven't done it already, it will probably be one of the GA Army National Guard CH-47s from Hunter AAF.
The portable HF station worked pretty good! Over an hour this afternoon after work, I worked stations in AL, KS, MD, NJ, NY, TN, TX, WI, Nova Scotia, and Hungary using a Yaesu-FT-891 at 50W out of the back of the car with the Chelegance MC-750 antenna.
