I love that there is a new universally accepted "worst" Star Trek movie.
Section 31 is bad, but it is "Spock's Brain" or "Way to Eden" bad, rather than Picard season two or Discovery Mirror Universe arc bad.
It's fun. I have seen it five times and I'll buy the Blu-Ray.

I still intend to approach the #Section31 movie with an open mind, but I can't help but think of it as the #StarTrek equivalent of those cheap looking Sony movies that try to turn B-level Spider-Man villains into protagonists.
I like that the current era of Trek is willing to try new things... however, the downside of trying new things is they don't always work.
I have never been the biggest fan of the MU or S31 in #StarTrek, so the premise of the #Section31 movie was always going to be a tough sell for me.
But I'm still excited to see a new Trek movie.
Vicki Peterson and John Cowsill have been talking for a while about an album they are working on that features songs that were written by Bill and Barry Cowsill before they passed.
