Our short-term employees are so vital - this is 100% a win. These short-term employees (like my friend) do very important conservation work that our national parks need, so this is amazing.

The Day of Our Divorce Hearing you treated me to lunch, a spaghetti place. We had never been so kind to each other. When you said I'm still a slob we laughed. After lunch we stood in the parking lot. You said, You have the last word but I said, No, I'm tired of being the one who sums things up. You get the last word. But you couldn't think of one. So off you went to our silver car, I to our red one. It's three years later. And even that's just a story now. Lately I don't feel as if I lived with you. But I remember our kindness that day, when it no longer mattered.

This poem made me stop in my tracks.

you know, I refuse to subscribe to the belief that you have to write just one thing. my first book is a poetry book & I’m now cleaning up and finishing my second draft of my urban fantasy novel and I’m thrilled.

I think I’m going to write whatever I want for the rest of my life - stay tuned.

It’s so fun to have a true, genuine folk hero emerge in 2024. A mysterious stranger whose action represents the frustrations, hopes, and dreams of the people. I hope we never learn anything more about him.
