I haven’t implemented this feature at all yet, but will do so in one of the upcoming releases. Once implementierst will also be available through a voice over action.

I've seen this myself from time to time. It is meant to suppress repeated reposts of the same post - not quote posts though. But I'll have to dig into the code again as it seems to have failed to do so recently.

Unfortunately, Skeets' system is older and at this point not compatible with Bluesky's.
The reason is that Skeets needs its own backend to send Push notifications and thus needs to have its own configuration. However, I'll add more options in the upcoming release to make it worthwhile.

Nevermind. The pagination part comes in the next update. I mixed them up.

I'm going to add more notification types like "you have been blocked by" and "you have been added to list xyz" in the upcoming release

v1.23.9 is available

Fixes:

- Notifications are working again
- New LikeViaRepost and RepostViaRepost notifications are supported (can be turned off in next release)
- Posts in the subscriptions tab are not paginating so you can scroll way back

There was an issue with the latest Bluesky advances when it comes to notifications. It has been fixed in 1.23.9 which has just been released.

Oh sorry, I just re-read your post and saw that you were talking about App Passwords after all. IDK then tbh - I'm carefully syncing app extensions with the main app and make sure they have a shared token store so that extensions don't refresh a token which is then not used in the app later.

I'm currently still using App Passwords as an auth mechanism. AFAIK the problems of other apps currently reside in issues with the OAuth flow..

Just submitted a bug fix to Apple that takes care of the notifications. 🔔

You may wanna dial down the tone. I’m a freelance dev that works on this app in his free time while having a family and a regular job. If you’re not satisfied with the product feel free to use another app.

FYI: this new Bluesky feature MAY cause problems for you when loading notifications in @skeetsapp.com. I will provide a fix tomorrow.

You can disable it in the settings under Font Size & Display (it needs to go somewhere else i know :)

Would be cool to have a via_app field so other AT Proto apps could be easily discovered.

Ich gucke gleich mal. Kann gut sein, dass der neue notification Typ Probleme macht. Konnte man leider nicht gut vorher testen :(

yes, quote posts are visible in the app. But if you have the "Hide repeating posts" feature enabled in the feed display preferences successive quote posts of the same post are suppressed

You can configure this in the feed settings menu (top right corner)

This update should finally fix the "Session expired" bug. Please give it a try and let me know if the issue has been resolved for you.

the bugfix is already in Apple's review queue. Shouldn't be long now.
