As long as humans consume, waste will be a part of life.
Waste doesn't disappear, it can be converted or moved.

What is the best way to deal with 1.5M Tons of trash/year?

Waste to Energy (What this facility does)
-Converts waste to energy
-Air Pollution

Landfill (contaminate water sources)
-Requires a large amount of land
-Produces Methane
-Contaminates water

No real wins either way
