Maybe I'm just self-conscious because I DO worry about putting out those silly one-offs sometimes, worry about setting false expectations for my art and what I can do, so this is just a really negative reinforcement of that

Assure quality, sure, make sure you're putting out something good that you like and (if commissioned) the commissioner likes. But 110% on everything? Yeah no, it's okay to just have a filler piece, a sketch, a silly little thing you don't spend forever on.

I really don't like this take. Like yeah, I enjoy when artists go above and beyond and put their passion into something, but also 'artists should burn themselves out on literally every piece' is... not a healthy or reasonable take
