People die every year at Burning Man. I've never heard of someone being murdered, there. Absolutely insane..

Mostly through The Lazarus Project S1 aanndd after a few "will George ever be held accountable for his actions"-searches turned up a, "mostly, nah" I've decided to sink my frustrations into something else lol 😮‍💨 "Irredeemably selfish, stupid, but otherwise untouchable character"-plot drivers suck.

One thing I can definitely say after 6-9 months of being mostly (ok, Cali) sober: A. Lot. of the things about me that I thought were the drugs.... weren't the drugs. lulz. #Fack.

As Not the world's best dancer I feel a way about feeling this way, but, if I can pretty much hear you counting, "1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. 1.. 2.. 3.. 4.." in your head then I Prooobablyyy hate how you dance. Visual equivalent to nails on a chalkboard.

Where I am today?? Fuck their families. Fuck their safety. People should be doxxing and burning their fucking lives down. These people need to be held to grave account for the exuberance and gusto with which they've carried out their orders. Their every escalation maps to their concealed identities.

"ICE agents are allowed to wear masks during enforcement operations, primarily due to concerns for their safety and the safety of their families.." EXACTLY. I want them unmasked. There's no reason they should be allowed to carry out these actions without any sort of accountability.

When you can, be helpful. When you can't, well, at least be decent..

The years weren't lost or wasted if I've taken anything from the lesson not to avoid hard conversations, or coming to hard conclusions. I'll carry a wound for the times where this was the limit to my own integrity and self respect.

I still wake up some mornings mourning relationships that died, last year.. But I have to honor, that hurt stems from me clinging. Those relationships were dying, and either by loyalty or a fear to address it, I waited for something to happen to end things. A deep regret, masquerading as resentment.

The stacked airport -> flying -> airport experience to me is basically like a shit sandwich if the bread gave me explosive, acidic diarrhea..

It is simply denial that would have you disbelieve that your fellow citizens, coworkers, peers, family members ~ were Not duped and would accept Any level of discomfort or horror along the way if it means that their white(male) dominance and privilege are held unchallenged, as the world burns..

The places my mind's gone over the last little while when pondering how we might find ourselves out of this mess have been Dark. Like, distressingly so. A whole life, later, and I can hardly imagine any real solution that would align with my values, principles, or inclination towards non-violence..

It is hard to be excited about new AI products when we see:
a) how it is being used/sold, today (unchecked theft of intellectual properties)
b) how it is Most useful today (unchecked collection of user data & inputs to train models)
c) you can't assume blanket access to such tools/gatekeeping

It registers to me as one of those worst-case scenarios that (once)Twitter, with a dataset that includes near decades of the global public's content & messages, owned by a propagandist & self-serving morally dubious cretin, gets sold to that person's AI company...

What good could ever come of this?

I think one of the strugglebus-iest challenges of elevating your mind and spirit is that your environment doesn't exactly evolve around you, with you, for you, or without you.

Even the premise, "we are all connected," can become a lonely observation.

Starting the day kinda sad.. My father sent a message to all of my siblings urging us to avoid protesting for risk of surveillance & threats to incite violence.. Parents trying to protect their kids.. but, we're at greater risk Not protesting when what we accept, now, becomes our lot indefinitely.

Quick to trust is quicker to hurt, but quickest to true acceptance and awe..

First day of work went well :) I'm actually quite excited about how the team feels, a quiet priority for any job I'd take. Feeling rather fortunate.

I align with and am quite fond of using the double+ contraction: Y'all'll ("you all will"), I'll've("I will have"), you'dn't ("you would not"), he'dn't've("he would not have").. Mm. Makes my brain tingle 🥰
