As January 20th, Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday celebration, approaches...lets ready for that special day by sharing his words. Today, I am inspired by his "I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear." Thank you for the reminder of this lately very hard thing to do.
In 2019, my friend MaryLynn asked me to devise a theatre piece with community members living w/mental health challenges. Over 6 months, we explored stories of resilience, reflection, and humanity. Matt Bannister joined to help shape the script, creating magic! Yesterday, we 3 met to plan our reboot!
