I’m quite pleased we’re slowly removing prime ministers from our banknotes.

Notably, the Bank of England has been rotating famous non-politician Britons depicted on its notes, including Dickens, Austen, Turing…

The series, front and back Sarnia! Colourful RCMP Musical Ride on $50

My personal favourite was the “Scenes of Canada” issue before that one, but the birds were still great, especially as that was around the time a loon was put on our $1 coin.

But I like how the newest issues no longer have PMs and royal figureheads.

This is the guy Doug Ford recently appointed as Niagara Regional Chair and (until last week) was promoting the region’s municipal amalgamation.

At least it’s not the Milton Corridor! It gets nothing!

UP “Express” then would be the only electric service, making all stops between Pearson and Union including Woodbine, St. Clair, and maybe King-Liberty if that stop is revived.

The GO trains on the Kitchener Corridor would probably be two classes: a Kitchener-Union express and limited stop services from Mt. Pleasant and Bramalea, likely losing the Weston stop on both.

My reading is that UP Express becomes the frequent, urban service, rather than Bramalea-Union local GO trains.

When I biked that far west, I’d just stay on Lake Shore to Kipling/Humber College or to Marie Curtis Park instead of following that meandering route.

Of course it makes a lot more sense than the government setting up its own school supply system, I’m just very cynical about anything this provincial government does.

While there, picking up notebooks for your students, you can renew your drivers license at Service Ontario!

Maybe the office supply store chain that somehow landed all those Service Ontario kiosks?

I’ll bet the government website for this just redirects to Staples.

Right as party members are choosing a new leader.

I gave up on the federal NDP a while ago, but this still blows.

Holy cow. It’s been a while since I’ve frequented Augusta Street.

Ever since the Winking Judge changed owners and got crappy, I’ve found other places to go.

YOU CAN'T CUT BACK ON FUNDING! YOU WILL REGRET THIS!

OK

This isn’t SimCity2000 because at least he’d have something yelling at him to stop cutting funding to healthcare and schools.

I mean what next for this guy?

Expropriating the TTC so he can get rid of streetcars? Resuming the Spadina Expressway? Bringing back the Eastern Gardiner and extending it into Scarborough?

The Metro plans were planned around dumping traffic onto Davenport Road by Casa Loma and onto Spadina Ave south of Bloor. That’ll be fun in today’s city.

The real estate costs now versus the late 1960s/early 1970s when Metro was starting land assembly for it will be astronomical.

But that’s not a barrier for him, judging by his recent ideas.

I have plenty of issues with CBC News, especially at the top (R. Barton’s an example) but Travis Dhanraj’s just listing personal grievances here and platforming toxic views.

If I had a nickel for every time Franz Ferdinand was involved in the precursor events of a world war, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice

Internal polling by Ford government suggests strong support for expanding Billy Bishop Airport There is overwhelming public support in Toronto and across Ontario for expanding the runway at Billy Bishop Airport, according to internal government polling obtained by the Star.

This is a push poll, by the notorious Conservative operative Nick Kouvalis, that the government has leaked to the Star
