We specifically overview two very different discursive approaches to populism - Ruth Wodak's and Ernesto Laclau's.

Finishing my book on the birth and death of liberal democracy in Hungary. Twenty years in the making but this time it seems to be really coming together.

Went to a local high school talk about Europe, "populist right" or illiberalism, neo-New Right... AfD, Trump, Milei, Putin. There is no "European Populism". Everyone had seen clips from Trump's inauguration and it starts to sound like more of the same transnational hegemony. Sotungin lukio.
