08.10.2025 16:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0and yeah I'm legitimately surprised I seem to be the only person who actually noticed it, but Googling with multiple queries just turns up absolutely nothing about this
lots of threads about scammers, some about the silly "JDirectItems" name that will never catch on, but none about this
also *I'm
so if anyone knows of some other YJA proxy that will still give me REAL usernames, please let me know so I can start using it as a reference, and possibly update my mappings for future reference?
I know this is YJA's doing, not buyee/FJ/zenmarket; not going to blast any of them for this
ebay is already really annoying about preferring store names to actual usernames, and they keep making it more tedious (but not impossible) to get the actual username, so let me just say that as a buyer who documents the listings they buy and wants to be able to avoid certain sellers: this sucks
25.08.2025 03:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0buyee item listings, zenmarket, and fromjapan all made this change earlier, but until today I could still get the ACTUAL usernames from the watchlist. not anymore
plus buyee changed the seller URLs from /seller/ to /customer/ with an entirely new UUID, so my manual list of usernames no longer works
okay no one seems to be talking about this AT ALL so Im going to
buyee just removed the last vestige of real YJA usernames that I can think to get access to, by removing seller identities from the watchlist entirely. now you only get access to seller display names, or an asterisk-redacted username
how about the actual eroge released by Falcom, "Joshidaisei Private Stripper" (NEC PC-88, circa 1983)
I was extremely tempted to import a copy just for the novelty of saying "actual Falcom eroge" but thought better of it
I also can't confirm if it even has music
(caveat: this was back in the early 2000s)

Sadly last time I was in Benevento the pirate PS1 CDs my extended family had were all just plain CD-Rs with plain labels; this would have been really funny
We went back home with some pirated music CDs and those were just the plain white adhesive labels with the album name in Arial

Yeah, in the early days of TCRF I took apart a good chunk of the MD game library to find content for it and eventually found some minor stuff for GDRI as well through it. I also at least peek through the ROMs I've released/will release before doing so.
