In canon he looks constantly stressed and anxious because he's in a world-ending situation and feels it's his responsibility to save everyone from the same kind of tragedy that he's the survivor of. I don't think he would also act like that in a happy relationship with a guy he loves

Actually generally speaking why do so many people insist on portraying Kabru as constantly irritated and put off by Laios. Why does he have to be miserable and angry and exasperated and uncomfortable all the time. What's so funny about that. One must imagine Kabru happy

Truly my biggest issue with the way people depict them is usually that it's not mutual enough. That's what it comes down to. That and the absence of fondness. They like each other and feel comfortable doing stuff together, is my read

Kabru with a list of things he wants to try to see how Laios' body reacts to it. Stuff so weird that even Laios is like uhhh I don't know about that that sounds scary are you sure that's safe
They're both curious scientifically-inclined weirdos and I think that's the cool thing about them

It's common to depict Laios as being into freak shit while Kabru wants to do normal stuff but I think it's more compelling if they both make it weird. Yea yea Kabru (sometimes reluctantly) indulges Laios' interests but he totally has Ideas of his own because he wants to study Laios' body thoroughly

There are presumably a lot of reasons why Laios makes himself smaller all the time but I like to interpret it through canine communication lens. Aggressive/dominant wolves carry their bodies high while submissive wolves lower their bodies, heads, and tails... He's trying to appear non-threatening

I simply don't think that a game that throws 10 encounters per route at you wants you to keep the same team the entire way through and the exp share gives you the freedom to easily try out different team members

Imo exp share in pkmn X&Y works the way it does because the game expects you to swap your team around when you catch something new and it's way faster than switch training. This is already how I play pkmn so it made perfect sense to me and made it so much more fun
