Bochumers: Never. Not in a million years. It’s gonna be a no on principle.

This form of cyber war will absolutely happen

Feels like the scaling is "whatever currently works for the plot". Dedra gets a big apartment because of nice visuals. When the empire needs to seem strong they get appropriate manpower. When the heroes need to get away they get a 6-person strike team without helmets

24.05.2025 12:18 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Okay, but how did they only send one team to seize the target of a planetary-wide search? Why not storm three apartments at once? Why not have the droids come through the floor? Why is the farm inspection squad bigger than the ISB Coruscant strike team??? Some good content but random scaling

20.05.2025 22:02 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

This is on top of companies just straight-up paying to have your agents behave with a built-in preference or bias for their product. Sort of like Microsoft pays to be the standard OS or Google pays to come preinstalled. This is ABSOLUTELY already happening

20.05.2025 22:02 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Also, where does this idea come from that a system that they ask *to spend money on their behalf* would not absolutely be targeted for legal manipulation??? This will be a prime target and people are already working on it

20.05.2025 22:00 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

AI Agents will absolutely targeted by ads. Ads are a form of manipulation and AI systems are vulnerable to manipulation. Think prompt injections, RAG manipulation, training data poisoning, agent-vs-agent. Especially, if you trust this system to make purchasing decisions for you. Will be lucrative.

Okay, but how is the empire this bad at… being the empire? I’m trying to give the show a lot of leeway by believing in bureucratic inefficiency and imperial arrogance, but how can they not raid three apartments at the same time or spare enough troops to shut down a section of Corusant?

v3 of Rigging is out now. If you’re working with LLMs to build agents or run evaluations, check it out. We just added:

- Prompt caching for supported providers
- A unified tool system for function calling and fallbacks to xml/json parsing
- Native MCP integration

The idea of selecting for standardized tests is the right impulse. But while a heavy focus on standardized procedure and testing would be applicable in wider academia (for example PhDs and Postdocs) professorships - and especially tenure - are a highly political and clubby affair

Itβ€˜s good that they wrote this as well, because the original story was just an absolute Puff piece full of grandiose claims without putting the in context or qualifying them (such as: the newest LLM is smarter than a human πŸ˜‚). It honestly made me doubt the Financial Times

Pointless little icons for senders plus for some reason since updating to 18.4.1 it no longer displays the correct number of unread emails in the mail appβ€˜s red circle
