I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc

Once you realize that Trump isn’t nominating cabinet members to RUN agencies but DESTROY them, it makes more sense.

This is how you become a writer: just pick one of the things that is deeply wrong with you. Make it a character. Now send it on a self-help journey or try to kill it. Now call it a book.

I had appointments with both my therapist and psychiatrist today. It meant so much to be able to share my feelings about the election with them and have them share those same feelings. In a country that seems half crazy, that solidarity and empathy from smart women was so healing.

As we enter another four year period where bigots are louder and prouder, let’s be thinking of ways that we can step in as bystanders and allies. If you witness harassment, don’t just stand by, be prepared to act.

I was glad to read this update. We really need to be ready to step in immediately to help someone who is a target of this type of treatment.

This happened at a Downers Grove, IL Panera. He and his wife were wearing shirts that read “Free Palestine.” She said “f—- Palestine!” and then went after them. I hope she’s arrested for a hate crime. The bigots are much more emboldened and we need to be prepared to stand up to hate. #FreePalestine

I hate when someone says “we need to talk.” No need to say that, just start talking. I don’t need the anxiety buffer zone, thank you very much.

This holiday season, remember that you do not owe people your time and love just because they are your family. You get to choose to surround yourself with people who share your values rather than your gene pool.
