Don't think that's an Italy fan as he's wearing a PR hat AND jersey.

Literally the only thing I remember about Hinzo is this baseball card because it's so great. Now I know more!

I can tell you BYU gets dirty! They have to be creative about it, but the only reason I know what 'soaking' is, is because I grew up in Utah. Never underestimate the creativity of a horny college mind

Also always on the leaderboard for lip brushes. I like to think he mentored Jody Reed on the topic.

I feel if Trevor Hoffman has a bat in his hands, something has gone very wrong in the previous half inning

Among the random players that I have always liked and have no idea why. Carlos Quintana.

I'll only believe it if I see a video of it cause those chicken legs ain't pushing that weight back up. I mean if you have a phone to take the picture, you have the ability to make a video of it.

Curious. If that clip from a phone, recording a TV is the best evidence you have in court. What do you think your chance of winning is? I don't hear it in that one. I heard the unfortunate slip in the one that got him fired. But the other one, I can't tell either way but lean no.

I realize it sounds like I'm simping for Glenn. I promise I'm not. I enjoyed listening to him & enjoyed talking to him when I did (while I was working in baseball). This just seems like the thinnest of things to be angry about today when there are so many other actual things to be frustrated about.

That's 'proof'? Come on Craig. At what point do you hear an 'n-bomb' on a video from a phone watching a tv?
We're all going to hear what we want to hear I guess, to fit the narrative, but that's not even close to say he's done something multiple times in my mind. There is nothing egregious there

Just seems sus when you make a claim like you did, admit you were just working off of hearsay, and then throw a blanket 'zero tolerance' over it. Seems like something an owner would say more than an intelligent person who I've always enjoyed and respected.

And as a former A's fan, I remember the fan reaction was one of disbelief that Dallas Braden didn't stick up for his friend, ever.
Since I don't even pay attention ot my favorite baseball thing of all time anymore though because of John Fisher & the Giants blow ass, it doesn't really affect me.

I mean you clearly say in your post he did it multiple times? I call you on it & you tell me it's hearsay? I understand zero tolerance & adhere to it myself until I have more info.
I will still enjoy your viewpoints/content, but sure seems like you're FOX news'ing this one.

As somebody who has been on air many time, & I suspect you have as well, I don't take that attitude. Brennaman's was definitely malicious & on purpose. I don't think Glenn's was. But we'll never know.
His firing also led to Jenny Cavnar who definitely does NOT deserve to be in any booth.

I remember watching that game in in KC & when I heard him mispronounce it, it took me back. I even rewound it to hear it again while watching. A's fans knew Fisher was just stripping everything fans liked & this was an excuse.
This just isn't what I expect from you. Been a long time follower/sub.

I mean that seems a bit disingenuous wording on your part then. No?
He definitely said the word 'negro' in an unfortunate way & TBF did it before as well. But it in no way was 'the n-bomb'.
This, and the Awful Announcing article which I assume spurred this(?) seems like sensational clickbait.

Glenn was loved by A's fans & was, atleast from what I know, the team's shitty-ass ownership was looking for a reason to get rid of him, because A's.
If you have some proof I haven't seen about this, I'll reconsider, but I have never even heard of any other 'incident.' Also, fuck John Fisher.

Hi, lifelong (former) A's fan. I am very familiar with the 'incident' Glenn was fired for (in which there was no actual n-bomb but still problematic). I am completely unaware of any other time he actually dropped a 'n-bomb' on air. Can you point me to them?

That implies he's funny when not having sex, which is obviously and provably not true.

Timeline cleanser!
Tony Gwynn once called Rickey "...one of the best teammates, ever."
And if Tony Gwynn says it, you know it's true. Unless you played cards or dmonioes against him. Then he would take every cent you have on you.

Shit, I probably shouldn't be allowed within shouting distance of any school if that's the case.
