I thought it was maybe about time that I start working on my photographs from Scotland. They have been patiently waiting to be edited.

The weather has been wild the last four days to be brutally honest it feels like we’ve been in a constant storm over the last four weeks. But when that rain eases off the wind dies down, the light is incredible.

You should be here in the Faroe Islands just now. The last two weeks have been insane with strong winds and then eventually the snow arrived. Looks like another weekend of high winds again. I do love it.

Today has been a day of editing. The first in what feels like months. I’m glad to see that I’m still in the black-and-white mood. I think it might be a little while before you see colour again for me.

These were taken back in September while I was running a workshop here in the Faroe Islands.

Winter has officially taken over here in the Faroe Islands, and it’s absolutely glorious. Snow is falling thick, wrapping everything in a magical white blanket. Iconic peaks look even more dramatic dusted with snow, like something straight out of a fantasy novel
