Photo of a bowl of Japanese curry and rice (Kare raisu). There's siome sakurazuke (pickled radish) as a garnish, although that was not home made). The curry is a nice brown colour and has carrots and beef as the most visible ingredients, although it also has plenty of onion, garlic, ginger and apple in the mix.

Tonight's dinner 🍜🍽️: Kare raisu (Japanese curry with rice). Not my first time trying this, but definitely the first time cooking it. Like any curry, it's only as good as the spice mix, so I made my own curry powder. Really nice!
