Hear me out: a scholastic book fair but for adults

Does anyone else feel like they wish they could shut the world out for a while? No politics, no religion, no pandemics, no wars, no trauma, no corruption or exploitation. I know that it is very 🙈🙉🙊 but gosh I need a brake from it all... I want to be my character in animal crossing ⛈️😴

Officially deactivated my X(twitter) account and uninstalled it from my phone. After creating my BlueSky account and following the accounts I care about, there was no longer a reason for me to log in to that atrocious platform anymore. Good riddance. #feelsgood

I would say a typical game would last 20 min. The game has quite a bit of upfront learning but it's very easy after you play a round or two. I highly recommend you watch a how to play video on YouTube. The great thing about it is, it comes with like 5 small add-ons that add depth and complexity too.

Played Sky Team with a friend last night. Gosh that is a phenomenal two player boardgame. Makes me wish I had more IRL friends to play boardgames with.

Doing the Pokemon TCG Pocket championship is just.... Annoying. Just constant Meta decks. *Sigh* #ptcgp

Made a great water type deck focusing on Starmie EX on Pokemon TCG poket. It does use the Greninja meta but I built the deck myself and only learned how good that card is after losing to it a few times. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun with a card game. #PTCHP

I just beat the "expert" cpu venusaur drop event cpu in 4 rounds. It only had one card in play and used Ninetails with Blaine supporter card to deal 110 damage. Haha #pokemon #PTSGP
