Right. My mom paid $500 for my car in 95. The lady was a family friend, so she made payments.Everything was more affordable in the 90s. I didn't buy either of the boys' cars. They had to use mine when I didn't need it.

We had bowling alleys, skating rinks, fields, and would loiter in parking lots. We would also drive the loop through town all night w/our friends. Gas was cheap in the 90s.😂

I live in a rural-ish small town. Closet city is 20 minutes away. Like you said everything is so $$$. Even the towns are hosting fewer community events. That takes away from the 3rd spaces in our town.
