The video game industry has *already* been killed by rich failson assholes who don't know anything.

You can't look at the massive, industry-wide layoffs and armies of people fucked over in every single part of video game making, and think that its destruction is a future thing yet to happen.

Python was awarded a funding grant, funding grant asked Python foundation to remove all diversity and inclusion initiatives they have.

Python foundation said no and rejected the grant.

I love the scientific and social progress in other countries and am excited for them, don't get me wrong.

But man, this one tweet someone shared on Discord sums up exactly how I (and definitely fuck tons of others) have felt all year. It's a full Squidward looking out the window moment
