Petition: Prohibit publishers irrevocably disabling video games they have already sold The government should update consumer law to prohibit publishers from disabling video games (and related game assets / features) they have already sold without recourse for customers to retain or repair them. We seek this as a statutory consumer right.

Indie games should never be compared to much larger games like AAA, that makes no sense due to differences in development budgets. But they can and should be equally judged based on what's offered to the player. I don't care how small or big a developer is, their game is still either good or bad.
