Fall color is beginning to emerge in the Minneapolis area. Nikon D850 w/50mm f/1.8G. I made this photo yesterday while on a photowalk with my granddaughter. She was shooting my D700.

The weather is locked into this misty and grey theme with hardly any wind, yet the colours on the trees become more and more vibrant as we slip further into Autumn. So no complaints here 😀

What I adore most about autumn is that it makes it so easy to connect with the inner child! Catching falling leaves and taking in all the colours is a kind of magic that reminds me of childhood and seeing wonder everywhere. I spent so long just playing under the golden leaves today. 💛🍂✨️
