I don’t do commissions often but they are a fun challenge, and its nice to make something extra meaningful for people. Their ask was anything with French butter, so poor me had to go out and find (and later devour) most delicious butter ever. #oilpainting #breadandbutter

I painted this one while all the birds waited on the sidelines for me to leave so they could feast on the plants and flowers. Do you see them in the trees? The rose plant is sad and I think diseased. The blooms are tiny but still paint worthy. #pleinair

I have never instantly fallen in love with two characters like this before. These two from Kpop Demon Hunters stole the show. The flower pot scene had me cackling like a 2 yr old. Need a whole spinoff with them please. Really incredible movie, so weird and wonderful!

Forgot my panel holder this morning, so had to get creative. Also was running late, and was chased out of the first spot by hornets, so only had time for a little baby one. I love how it turned out though! Time pressure can be a good thing. #pleinair #oilpainting #roses

I intended to spend the morning birding and drawing, but lack the stealth factor and the only birds that didn’t care were the chickens. So I just did some blind contours. It’s amazing how much of their personalities can come out without even looking at the paper. #chickens

Not having good parents leaves you with figuring out the basic things like you are supposed to make your zipper thing flat to lock it in place and make sure it doesn't fall down much later in life than everyone else 😅

Now I know why my fly always opened 😂
