It's all just reason to keep struggling against authoritarianism. The US has never lived up to its ideals, but it's always had brave movements trying to make it do so. We can resist this evil government and come out better in the end. It's possible.

OP's comment never applies, b/c it's arbitrary and authoritarian. It's true that a student from a high school or college in a Maga state could've gotten a worse education--but then they would be shut out of college or grad sch'l on the merits of the application, not just because of their home state.

If they have the talent to do well at the school, let them into the school! Or, you know, just apply the same admissions standards, with whatever math is already used to admit a diverse student body, to them! Don't geographically discriminate against people! That is nuts! Listen to yourself.

Yes, but still, admit students on their merits. Hold any student to the same admissions standards as any other. But don't disqualify solely because of the state they come from.

You're responding to a different point. It's great that they offered support classes for you. That other post was saying that there should be an arbitrary rule that certain states don't get their graduates accepted into college, even if, presumably, the graduates are highly qualified.
