Tonight's book promotion scam is from the The Black Literature Collective Book Club. The invitation includes a photo of young Black women with books. It's a photo from 1957 of the Little Rock Nine, who desegregated a Little Rock, Ark., high school in 1954. The scammer claims 15,000 club members.

I use these on all my mail.

She wants to feature the second book in a series in a promotion scheme, not the first. Her picture shows up in 20 places on the internet, mostly to sell eyeglasses. Google Images search spots scammers instantly. The only hit on my website today (a day after canceling my Xmas ad) came from Nigeria.
