Attending a Public Health student's dissertation defense is always a nice way to end a busy week. This one focused on LGBTQ+ health within Nebraska and the needs of medical students to learn about LGBTQ+ health.
It's one of my favorite days in my LGBTQ Studies course - the day we watch The Celluloid Closet about queer themes in film/media before the 90's.
