i think an underappreciated effect of all these age verification laws is that they would, in the limit, basically kill the ability of independent websites to host adult content. like, even if i had the resources to implement fucking *face scanning* into my site, who is going to bother to do that???

So when you guys do you daily calls today you should ask mastercard what illegal adult content they found on these content creation platforms. Tell them to make names. When they give you the runaround say "but what have you found that's illegal".

The good news: The SSD was recoverable!! Because I have incredibly talented friends, like 90% of the info was able to be saved and moved onto a backup 😭💕

The bad news: The new cpu was faulty so I have to return/exchange it and the mobo again.

It's now just a waiting game to see if that's all to it
