This semester has been ttoouuugghhhhh. It’s been hard to be present and curious while surrounded by chaos and uncertainty…so I am extra excited about my wins this past week! Heading to the Anzaldúa archives and Chicago this summer 💕✨

This will be my first #NACCS and we are leading a workshop!! I hope fellow grad students join us in this space of joy, love, jotería and healing we are trying to create!

To fellow #jotería, what articles/books/texts/artifacts inform how you think of/define/grapple with jotería(studies?)?

Grad students - it is just a paper for a class. Get it done and get it submitted. It does not need to be perfect! (Speaking to myself)

Have you encountered a class/space where this happened?

And not just like peer review type things! Thinking with/near peers is great especially when we engage at all stages of the writing process ✨

Dear grad school faculty: please incorporate writing workshops into your syllabi.

Being able to hear the brilliance of peers is soooo fucking amazing. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
