Following up my previous post, I finally found my deep joy for my creativity again. Which makes me so happy on so many levels. And I want to share my first try on sculpting with you.

It is wonderful! Great idea to incorporate the sculpture into the whole art piece like that. And it is sculpted and painted beautifully with so much detail. I'm happy for you that you have found your joy for creativity again. It really shows in this art piece!

I got the exact same call yesterday, too. But it was not the first time I got a call like that, so I knew it was a scam. When I got the call for the first time some months ago, I also hung up and checked my PayPal account for messages through the official website. No messages there, no problem.

I was able to continue my chemo therapy again last week (it had to be paused for many weeks) and I'm still under lots of heavy medication. There is not much hope that my health will improve and we don't know what might happen next, but at least it seems as if the drastic decline was stopped for now.

Huge thanks to everyone who has shared or commented on my recent posts! My special thanks go to the amazing beings who even commissioned or created art for me or sent physical mail. The support I got has really made the past days a lot better and has helped me to find a more positive mindset again.

Raising awareness for Cystic Fibrosis and calling for help (2/2) For me this new research comes too late. Throughout my life I’ve been lucky to survive many life-saving surgeries; including organ transplantations, which means that I can’t profit from new CF medication anymore. I've lived longer than anticipated, but my organs have suffered damage from CF or the side-effects of medication over time. On top of that I now have to deal with transplant rejection, chemo-therapy and various infections. CF usually takes a course like that sooner or later. In the past, my power for fighting through crisis was rooted in the hope to be rewarded by more years of good life-time afterwards. I still have that hope, but in times like this, it has become more difficult for me to stay “valiant”. I already went through so many years of agony, hopelessness, fear, uncertainty and isolation. I’ve lost so much and I’m so tired… But growing up with CF has also forged my character: I’ve always tried to stay positive, set and achieve almost impossible goals, give my life purpose and meaning. Helping others has helped me to carry on and I’m very proud that I was able to do lots of educational, political and charity work for the most part of my life – mostly in support of wild animals. I’d love to continue my life and efforts and I won’t give up yet. If you want to help me, maybe you can just post a nice comment, a sticker or a funny video to put a smile on my face. Raising awareness for Cystic Fibrosis and calling for help (1/2) I’m not well known in the furry fandom, but I’ve always loved to be a part of it. Sadly, recent events have put me in a very dark place and I feel the need to make this very personal post. I was born with a rare disease called Cystic Fibrosis (CF). A defective gene affects the cells that produce mucus, sweat and digestive juices, which causes disordered processes in the body and ultimately irreparable damage to the organs. Usually, the lungs and the digestive tract are affected most severely. Although there have been some improvements in treating this disease, it is still incurable and leads to a significantly shortened life-expectancy. In later stages of the disease often only organ transplantations (lungs, liver, kidney) can extend life for a couple of more years. Having to live with CF is a cruel fate that comes with the need to adhere to and endure strict therapy plans (from early childhood on), growing limitations and relinquishment and the devastating awareness of the inexorable progression of the disease and its horrible terminal stage. I’ve been fighting this disease all my life, but now it seems I’m starting to run out of options. I will elaborate on my personal situation in the next part of my post, but I want to use this one first to raise awareness on CF and maybe encourage you to donate – hoping that further research may lead to a cure someday or at least make the lives of other CF patients easier and longer in the future. Probably one of the most popular characters at #EF28 was #Greeny Wolfy, the virtual mascot/host of the Opening Ceremony.
The art/animation team of #Eurofurence did an amazing job in bringing this character to life! <3

The #Eurofurence #Pawpetshow was yet again a great experience! They somehow not only manage to create so much beautiful art and a whole new play every year, but also come up with new creative effects to surprise the audience.

I only had time to 3D-print a few RAM sticks. But I added a custom made sticker just for #EF28 and donated everything for charity.

One RAM stick even made it into the Art Show and I think it was sold for €40 (100% for charity of course)! :D (2/2)

I like Protogens, so I wanted to create something for them. It took me days to design the "Fancy Protogen RAM" in CAD, because I had to place more than 1000 separate solids meticulously (resembling all the vias, contacts, chips, resistors, capacitors). (1/2)

100 3D-printed clips in 12 colors, packaged separately with some instructions.
They ended up as prices at the charity/lottery booth.

For #EF28 I wanted to create and donate some items for charity, so I was very busy with designing and 3D-printing during the weeks leading up to #Eurofurence this year. In the end I managed to make 100 Clips and some "Fancy Protogen RAM" sticks. :)
