Heads-down on music lately. Wrapping up some changes made to tracks I had nearly considered "done". That'll teach me to get prescriptive about when the art is finished. 😆

I love these sessions. Watched a ton of random videos back when I bought my first modular some years ago, but the 'Diver videos really click for me.
(learned some of this in school but that was back when FM was king, so jumping back into subtractive has been mixed-success)

After several weeks spent focusing on synth-forward tracks it feels weird that the new track leans so heavily into grungy guitar grooves. Remember the Tactical Nuke wavetable plugin from years ago? I was today years old when I discovered it can achieve massive Mudhoney tone.
Goofy grins abound. 🫠

Nice. This track slaps! The tight harmony in the guitar solo is icing on the cake (killer stuff, Steve!). Kickass.

I suspect most people are unaware of how many 20 & 30-somethings successfully run major things every day.
As a teen, I remember my parents recounting similar grumbling when JFK became President at age 43. (who then navigated Soviet nuclear proliferation... no pressure)

Gotta add more VOID to my wishlist. I pile these up until BCF rolls around.

Feels difficult to ask for our audience's time (or to gift our own) when competing against the distraction_industrial_complex.
However, we humbly ask our human cohort to place our dulcet tones in their earholes.
Totally worth it. Might even end up with a new personal soundtrack. 😄

Accurate. Contemporary memes should probably be about Linux, but I feel like a solid regedit reference conveys the 1000-yard stare that represents the overall vibe of WWar 3: Day 2. 😅

Truth. It's silly to remain artistically coy when a majority of my current audience has already heard the new track. 😅
