Have to say that due process is often also not followed when CBSA decides it wants to deport someone.

This is why we must fight for everyone. Whether they’ve been incarcerated or have had contact with the criminal legal system or are merely undocumented. When you accept that some people are deserving of detention and deportation the scope of who is eligible is always under threat of expanding.

There’s something to the way people propelled by love and will move themselves across the earth in search of safety, contrasted with the most vicious, powerful country in the world claiming uselessness. Reminded of what real power is.
