The short story "A Lesson in Trade" was a massive relief to me for this exact reason. Despite the grimdark setting, a guy still tried to rip someone off on a sale of weapons and got in some serious trouble for it (still a bit more grimdark than mail fraud but, y'know)

Nah I think that's fair. It brings a little humanity when you see, despite all this excessive brutality and authoritarianism, the little grievances you can have in real life are present and makes it feel more real.

Who tf knows for sure but it's just a little bit slimy that execs at Paradox, the publisher, can spin any yarn they want about the "incompetence" of everyone they laid off at Hard Suit Labs, the studio, when all of those devs are under NDA and legally cannot respond or give their side

Ran into a problem where the PVA (2different brands) kept frosting up. Never had that happen before, and don't know what its reacting with. It did it with the static grass so I couldn't really clean it up post. Bleh. I'll just have to put up with it. Oh well.
